What does it truly mean to be unashamed of the gospel? This message takes us on a journey through the story of Samson, a man who made solemn promises to God and broke nearly every one of them, yet found redemption and restoration when he turned back to the Lord. The lesson is not simply about a dramatic haircut or a feat of strength. It is about the weight of broken promises, the grace that meets us in our failures, and the truth that God's mercy is always available to those who return to Him. Romans 1:16 reminds us that the gospel carries the power of God for salvation to all who believe, and we are called to stand on that truth without hesitation or embarrassment. Just as Samson accomplished more in his final act of surrender than in all his years of strength, our greatest impact can come when we stop relying on ourselves and fully trust God again. We are challenged to examine where we have drifted from our commitments to God and to consider what it would look like to run back to Him with the same boldness these young people displayed when they stood before us and declared what God had done in their lives at camp.
